God has called us to be “Followers of Christ, On Mission with God”. The church around the world is seeking to make Christ known. Recently I had the privilege to serve alongside various churches on mission where God has placed them.
Crash Japan
Recently I had the privilege to work through one of the base camps for Crash Japan. This is a ministry directed by Grace Community. Ten years ago the pastor had a vision for preparing individuals and the church for disaster relief. Unknowingly they were preparing for such a time as this. There was another team from Germany who was serving with Crash. One evening the teams got together and there was singing in English, Japanese, German, and Russian. It is wonderful to hear praise amd worship in many languages.
Samaritans Purse
Samaritans Purse is an international ministry provide relief throughout the world. There work in northern Japan is tremendous as they support the churches and ministries in the region with supplies and support. Every where you go you see resources that have been given through Samaritans Purse. I also had the opportunity to see first hand ome of their base camps in Samita. They are well prepared to serve those in need and make Christ known.
