There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1
Condemnation is the sentencing of an individual to a punishment for actions they have done. In Romans we have learned that under the law we were condemned by our sin, but through Christ we have been forgiven and made free.
Because of Christ’s sacrifice and redemption we no longer walk in condemnation or shame but we walk in the newness of life. In Christ we receive the full measure of God’s grace and we no longer face the condemnation of our sin but the benefits of his grace.
Lord may we walk in freedom and deliverance for we know we no longer face condemnation but forgiveness through Christ.
