Scripture
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Romans 8:31-32
Observation
If God did not spare His Son on our behalf then we should also expect He will graciously give us all things.
Application
We often live life as orphans not children of God. We think to ourselves, “why should God give to me good things after all I have done?”. We are reminded in Romans that God did not spare His own Son on our behalf. If that is the case then we can expect so much more because Christ has adopted us into God’s family. Our Heavenly Father will not hold back good things but will graciously give us all things.
Prayer
Lord may we live as children of a gracious Heaven Father who willingly gives us all things.
